Shout out to the correctional officers.

My blog, Everyday Miracles and Mayhem at the Buck and Run Ranch apparently has a small following of correctional officers. I think that is fitting considering my recent admission to stealing from a yard sale and my repeated slanderous comments about Giada de Laurentis’s cleavage. If I continue along this path, I am no doubt going to find myself a guest in a correctional facility in the near future. Perhaps having people on the inside who enjoy my blog will work to my advantage. Maybe sharing my recipes will win me a cushy job in the prison kitchen. I make a mean mac and cheese and my recipe can feed a lot of people.  My bologna sandwich needs tweaking but I can work on that. Just for the record, you probably want to steer me away from the laundry. I use a lot of soap and leave the clothes in the dryer for days. Just sayin’. I also want to let everyone know well in advance that I don’t have the figure for jumpsuits and orange isn’t flattering to old lady skin tones.

Until I am delivered to prison to serve my time, I want to thank you for reading and for doing the work you do. I believe you do walk the toughest beat in the state and we are all safer for it.
