Thank you for reading Miracles and Mayhem at the Buck ‘n Run Ranch. This little blog hit a major milestone yesterday when we surpassed 20,000 page views and almost 5,000 unique visitors in one month! That is huge for me. HUGE. H.U.G.E. BlogHer Publishing Network guidelines state that blogs hitting 15,000 page views per month can expect to receive quite a bit more than a fancy cup of coffee. What? Maybe I could make enough to buy a bag of chicken feed. A girl can dream. I still had not reached the $25.00 earnings threshold to be paid until a few days ago. I now have made $27.00 since February! In forty five days I should receive my first check. I thought about buying a bag of chicken feed but changed my mind. My writing this blog doesn’t matter if no one reads it. You, dear readers got me here.
So, because it’s really hot today and I need some ice cream, I have decided to have a contest to thank you, my readers. I can’t stop saying that. I have readers. All my readers are cordially invited to enter a contest to win a Cuisinart ICE-30BC Pure Indulgence 2-Quart Automatic Ice Cream Maker in stainless steel. I made Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream in mine just a few days ago.
All you have to do to enter is to add a comment to this post stating what flavor of ice cream you’ll make if you win. That’s it. Easy as making homemade ice cream. The contest will run from now through Friday, June 8 at 5:00 p.m. At the conclusion of the contest the winner will be chosen at random by www.random.org. You are only allowed to enter once so please, only one comment per person. If you post more than once, you will be required to buy an ice cream maker for the next ten posters. Just kidding, but you will be ineligible to win. Hey, it’s a Cuisinart. We have to enforce the rules! By the way, I am not being compensated by Cuisinart or anybody else for this prize. I am paying for it from my advertising earnings. Oops, that won’t cover it. I’ll just take the rest out of Michael’s wallet.
I made strawberry cheesecake ice cream in my Cuisinart just a few days ago. Tell us what flavor you’ll make!
UPDATE! The winner of the ice cream maker is Patricia Crowley who will use it to make chocolate ice cream. Congratulations Patricia!
