I messed around all day with my new photography lights and refectors. I have so much to learn. I have read until my eyes are crossed but I still have a long way to go. I am a hands-on learner and wish there was a class I could take to teach me the basics. I have looked into online courses but haven’t found the right one yet. Meanwhile I will keep reading and and taking pictures because I love doing it and it is a challenge for my age addled brain. I found a couple of site where you can post your pictures and others will critique them. Some of the comments I read were harsh to say the least. I don’t think I am ready for that yet. Here’s some of my work from today.
My dinner plate with smoked salmon with lemon dill mayonnaise and fully loaded potato salad. Natural light was used for this shot as it streamed onto the table.
Sparkling strawberry lemonade photographed in the sunroom with photography lighting and reflectors. Michael drank the lemonade and said it wasn’t very good. “But it’s pretty.”
