Buddy redeemed himself today in the 70 cc open class. He took the holeshot and maintained a solid lead for the entire 30 minute race, winning first place. ( Sorry, picture were lost)
Buddy’s maternal grandparents, his Nonna and Tata, drove up from Blythe for the race. Here they are with Buddy after his win.
Dad gets him looking sharp in his Fox shirt for the awards presentation.
We stayed for the the Pro race which featured a new jump over the lagoon. That was really exciting.
Michael and I have press passes so we get to be right down on the track to take photos and video.
My favorite Pro rider is #5 Doug Eichner, considered the “old man” of the pros at age 44. He holds more WORCS Pro Championships than any other rider.
Emily and Buddy like Josh Frederick, the current WORCS championship rider with the #1 plate.
Amanda is a big fan of #9 Tim Shelman, aka TPQ. Here he is barely clearing the lagoon jump.
The winner of the Pro race was #62, Frenchman, Jeremy Wariner, the newest rider for the Can Am team. Here he is clearing the lagoon jump.
So, that’s it for WORCS Round 3. Next stop on the tour is next month at Honey Lake, CA.

Clearing up the rumor (thats so true)
Great Job Buddy we knew you could do it. Mandy said that is one heck on a jump but she would like to clear up this rumor that she is a big TPQ fan. She said she is TPQ’s BIGGEST fan. I want that first pic of Buddy and the one of Mark and Buddy. See you soon.
