Sixteen Tons

July 30, 2012

Michael and I were anxious to clean up the debris from the new fence. We were not anxious enough to do it ourselves but we were willing to pay grandson Buddy to do it. For $25.00 he picked up the lumber ends and trash and put them in the trailer. I paid him an extra $5.00 to accompany Michael to the dump and help him unload the trailer. I am not sure how we persuaded him to move 3 sixty pound bags of cement from the yard to the garage, but he did it. He had his own little style as you can see in the video.

My first thought was, “Mary must really trust him to let him use her scooter.” Then I realized that this is the grandson that rides expensive bikes across crazy terrain and wins while doing it!! Your scooter must be “slow mo” for him! What a great helper……you’re going to miss him!!
