While you wait for the hatch here’s a picture my grandaughter took of the boys a couple of days ago.

The expected weight loss on Day 35 is 9.4% ± 1.6% so eggs A, B, and C are all perfectly on track with their weight loss again. We will weigh them again on Day 42 and Day 49 then they go on lockdown for hatch. I am starting to get my hopes up but know that many things can go wrong before and during hatch. One person in the BYC Emu hatch-a-long has lost three at hatch in a few days. I am so hoping that doesn’t happen to me. She still has one in the incubator and eight under her broody male. Thanks for following along. We have less than three weeks to go. My Christmas guests were surprised to see that egg which were in the incubator at Thanksgiving are still there and still have almost three weeks to go. It is not for the impatient of faint of heart.
