There was another brazen daytime escape yesterday at the Buck ‘n Run Ranch. Two emus, known only as Stuart and Louis, lured the goat girls to the back pasture. Using the girls as decoys, the emu boys scaled a chicken wire barrier and left the property through a hole in the neighbor’s fence. Witnesses report the wayward emus trespassed on a neighboring property for the purpose of socializing with a herd of llamas. 
Once the visit with the llamas ended, the emu boys made their way up to the house for the purpose of socializing with the occupants of trespassed upon property. After a brief visit with Kay the emu boys made their way back to the pasture in an attempt to come back home before the escape was discovered. because their brains are the size of walnuts they couldn’t remember how they got out so they couldn’t get back in. They were observed pacing the fence line looking for a way back home. The emu boys were captured and returned to the Buck ‘n Run Ranch and the chicken wire barrier was secured to the neighbor’s fence in an effort to thwart further breaches.
The goat girls, led by Thelma, aka “Satan” provided a cover for the emu boys escape by carefully dotting the landscape and providing a visual distraction for the proprietors of the Buck ‘n Run Ranch.
After the escapees were apprehended, the goat girls, led by Satan descended upon the chicken wire barrier, bending it to the ground and entering the forbidden zone between the Buck ‘n Run Ranch and the llama ranch. Luckily Satan made the first attempt through the hole in the fence but got stuck midway because she was too fat. With Kay lifting her from the opposite side of the fence and me pulling her hind legs, she was eventually freed.
The goat girls have been charged with aiding and abetting. Satan could not be charged with escape since she was unable to squeeze her butt through the hole in the fence.
For now, the emus and the llamas will have to visit over the fence.
The goat girls, led by Satan will not have access to the grass that is greener on the other side
of the fence.
As for the emu boys I think they put their walnut brains together and they are planning something.
I am keeping my eye on them!
I really enjoyed reading about the emu’s and goats working together. My husband is trying to convince me to add emus to our farm..I have been trying to read up on them. Thank you for adding a story with personality.
