Well, I started my morning out in the barn bagging up 165 gallons of poop and hay. That’s five 33 gallon garbage bags full. It wasn’t too bad as I had all the goats and chickens helping. I think every pitchfork full I lifted had some sort of animal on it. I was stepping on ’em, over ’em and around ’em. Oh, and while I scooped the poop, Donovan helped by untying my apron every ten seconds. That really helped a lot. I got to take a lot of breaks while I re-tied it. I have to wear the apron to keep the hoof prints off my clothes, of course. We’re still working on that. I cleaned out the henhouse, put down fresh shavings in the nesting boxes and was rewarded with 7 beautiful brown eggs.
Michael cut a big limb off the oak tree to open up the view. I was glad to see it go as I hit my head on it about every other day when I fill the water buckets.

Oh my god swinging goats……. What will you think of next….. I love the bridge. Now when I go over at 6:30am I wont worry about making sure to take my phone in case I fall and break my neck.
