Just a post to say that my computer is down and out. On Saturday it wouldn’t power on so we took it to the Apple Store. It is still in for repairs. I am getting conflicting information about what is wrong and when it will be fixed. As soon as I get it back I am going to type a letter to Apple objecting to their “Genius Bar” concept. If you aren’t a mac person you probably don’t know about the geniuses. That is what Apple calls their in store technical people. They even wear shirts proclaiming their “genius” status. A blogging mom posts this funny piece about “How to Navigate the Genius Bar” at http://tinyurl.com/djoumf. A former genius makes this comment on his blog: “The Genius Bars have become magnets of negativity both for the customers and for the Geniuses themselves.” I so agree. So for now, I sit here with my high, but not genius range, IQ and wait for a call from Shaggy telling me to come pick up my Imac.
I have access to Michael’s laptop but my old lady eyes just can’t deal with the tiny screen. Hopefully I’ll be back soon with my big ole’ 24″ monitor.
Oh, and the motorhome is still in the shop (3+weeks), making our trip to the race this weekend iffy, at best.
Now I am going to go commune with the chickens and goats. At least I will be on equal intellectual footing. Unless, now that the goats have learned to high five, they request that they be referred to as geniuses.
Nah. I am clearly the brains of this group.

Good morning, Mary!
I hope your computer is back up to speed soon for I so enjoy your blog! I know what you mean about the tiny keys of the laptop…definitely not for me either.
I have 12 little chicks that are about 8 weeks old now and definitely looking like "chickens" (pics on my blog). I never knew I would enjoy chickens, but I do! Next, I’d like to have two baby goats…Baxter & Beatrice! I love seeing pics of all of your farm animals!
Hugs and blessings,
Dianne
