Little Legbar Mama

I hatched out three legbars last week. They were put into a brooder with a cream legbar female 3.5 weeks older than them. She was leary of them for the first couple of days. Not anymore. She has adopted the three as her babies. She sleeps with them under her at night and shows them how to eat and drink. This is the second little Legbar I have had that adopted baby chicks at under four weeks old. If that speaks to the probability of them being broody when they get older I am going to be up to my ears in chicks.
