We arrived in Bakersfield today, our halfway home point. Our drive through the desert has been beautiful and NOT windy, thank goodness. That’s the good news. The bad news is that the butterfly migration is still going on.
Look at the wildflowers growing on the volcanic rock. It was really pretty.
I wish I had noticed this sign before wandering around.
I thought this was pretty with the jet trail and the moon at noon.
