It is an epic battle. It’s a battle of wits. It’s a battle of will. It is played out daily at the Buck and Run…
It’s a story of DAVID vs. GOLIATH…
GOOD vs. EVIL…
HOLYFIELD vs. TYSON…
BIEBER vs. BEETHOVEN…
It’s JACK “The Ass” DONKEY vs. MICHAEL “The Halter” O’BRIEN
In one corner, weighing in at 700 pounds and wearing black is Jack, “The Ass”
In the opposite corner, weighing in at 210 and wearing brown is Michael, “The Halter”
And it is Michael out first with a weak attempt to put the halter on The Ass.
Jack answers back with a strong pull to the right, throwing off the halter attempt.
In a brazen move, O’Brien drops the rope and puts a double fisted choke hold on The Ass.
O’Brien digs in and holds on as Jack makes another hard pull to the left.
TKO! TKO! The Ass loses focus just long enough for O’Brien to slip the halter over his nose and buckle it tight.
It’s over! The win goes to O’Brien and the loss to Jack.
Jack receives encouragement from Diana for his bravery and carrots from Michael for not killing him.
Michael celebrated the win with a victory lap around the pasture.
Later that night Jack would offer an explanation for the loss.
(Donkey Fact: More people are killed annually by donkeys than in airplane crashes.)
