All that and a bag of chips

February 3, 2012

Jackson, our mammoth donkey holds two Biggest titles here on the ranch.  At 700 pounds he is the biggest creature and at 700 pounds he is the biggest baby! Jack is afraid of lots of things. He is afraid of gloves. No matter how cold the weather, we must not approach Jack with gloves on. Jack is also afraid of the sound of a carrot being snapped in half. When feeding him whole carrots, we must turn around and snap the carrot in half so that he can’t see it. Jack is also afraid of cameras and plastic buckets that aren’t green.  Don’t even get me started on umbrellas. Two things Jack is not afraid of are coyotes and chickens. Jack likes being around chickens and it seems little Isbar girls like being around him as well.

Awww. Jack is such a sweet boy. I love how the chickens had to get to his level.

Green buckets are ok– but not snapping carrots–too funny. Your video makes me wonder what the chickens and Jackson are thinking of each other….Hmmmm
