Between Seasons

February 14, 2009

Today was one of those days when you can feel Spring coming.  It was stormy and rained off and on all day.  And, it was cold. Twenty five miles up the highway it snowed today. But, in between the showers, it was sunny and warm.  I wandered through the garden and fruit trees and noticed that buds have formed on the branches.  I think with a few more sunny days we’ll have blossoms.

The old oak trees behind the house are covered with bright green moss while autumn leaves are still on the ground.

The clouds were beautiful in the early afternoon.  I saw a hawk fly over and land behind the house so I took my camera out to find him.  I never did, but it was sure pretty back by the creek.

I had a great day, spending as much time with the animals as I could before the rain came back.  They boys were happy and looking for trouble as usual.

Wow Nana Wow I can’t believe he got his head through the hole. I thought you rigged it so he wouldn’t. I love the pictures. Adien looks so cute.
