On Wednesday as I was having a wisdom tooth removed, a box arrived at the post office with nine day-old Isbar chicks, two splash, one black, and six blue. We brought them home and put them in the brooder I had the foresight to prepare the night before. The only thing I have noticed different about them than the rest of the chicks I have raised is these guys can eat! I am filling their feed bowl every couple of hours. I’ll be posting updates as they grow up but here they are in their first blog debut.
Look at the size of the guy in front! He’s probably the one emptying the feeder.
