I have been trying to decide on names for my blue Isbars. Since they are from Sweden I decided to name them after the members of ABBA. For you youngsters, that’s a pop group from Sweden, popular in the 1980’s . I love the music from ABBA and have seen the musical Mama Mia twice, once on Broadway and again in Las Vegas. So I named the Isbar pullets Anna and Frida, nicknames of the female members of ABBA. This cockerel will be called Bjorn and the next one Benny.
I shot some video of them today enjoying some wheatgrass while still in quarantine on the side yard. Please excuse the tattered tail feathers on Bjorn. The roost is too close to the wall and needs replacing. Tomorrow! Can you believe what a beautiful blue color they are?
